HOW WILL YOU CHANGE LIVES?

As a Personal Trainer at VASA, you'll be more than a coach you'll be a guide on each client's fitness journey. You'll design and adapt training programs, provide fitness coaching, and motivate clients with energy and care. Whether leading one-on-one personal training, semi-private training, or small group sessions, you'll help members build confidence, strength, and consistency through effective strength and conditioning programs. By creating meaningful connections through safe, fun, and results-driven workouts, you'll not only transform bodies you'll transform lives.

  • COMPENSATION: Pay is reviewed quarterly with opportunities to increase as you add certifications, hours, and clients!
    • Base: $15.16/hour + session pay (average $20.00/hour).
    • Session Pay: $27-$76 per hour depending on group size, certifications and experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We want passionate trainers who thrive on helping others succeed and who bring positivity, energy, and professionalism to every session.

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology OR NCCA-accredited Personal Training Certification
  • CPR/AED Certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, optimistic approach
  • Passion for health, wellness, exercise science, strength and conditioning, and fitness training
  • Fitness sales experience preferred
  • Personal training, group fitness, or coaching experience preferred, but not required we welcome all levels

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

  • Build relationships that lead to new client sales and long-term retention.
  • Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Guide members through fitness assessments, and wellness check-ins that inspire ongoing training.
  • Create a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere in and around the training floor and gym environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through appearance, punctuality, and consistent execution of safety and cleaning standards.
  • Actively contribute to a supportive fitness community where clients feel connected, encouraged, and motivated.

  • Responsible for developing plans for group fitness classes.
  • Compile input from residents to tailor group fitness classes for the community.
  • Successfully advertise PrimeFit Group Fitness classes to residents, families and the community.
  • Creates a positive, fun and safe atmosphere that promotes healthy growth for older adults.

  • Maintain an understanding of how to use the technological resources available to student-athletes that are used to support practice and game preparation.
Recruiting & Retention
  • In compliance with NCAA DIII rules and regulations for men's volleyball, recruit student-athletes who meet Lycoming College's admissions requirements. Recruited student-athletes should possess the potential to contribute positively to the program and the entire student body.
  • Discuss regularly with the Head Coach recruitment plans to successfully target student-athletes that meet specific program needs established by the coaching staff and college who have the potential to excel academically and athletically.
  • Assist the Head Coach in creating, organizing, and maintaining recruiting information of prospective student-athletes.
  • Assist in organizing and executing on-campus visits for prospective student athletes.
  • Assist the Head Coach in monitoring the academic success of student-athletes through individual academic meetings to support the academic development of student-athletes through graduation.

What are we looking for?
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required;
  • Collegiate playing and coaching experience preferred.
  • Must obtain a driver's license with an approved driving record that passes our insurance criteria

Knowledge and Skill Set
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Successful completion of ACT 153 Clearances and Motor Vehicle Record check with an active driver's license.
  • Successful candidates will be self-motivated and possess the ability to recruit, teach and coach highly talented student athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment.
  • Experience with using video breakdown, analysis, and analytics to improve team performance.

The Group Fitness Instructor will lead Golf Fitness Solutions' large group training classes for golfers of varying ages, fitness levels, and golf experience. This role is responsible for delivering safe, energetic, and well-organized sessions that help clients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and overall golf performance. Responsibilities include coaching clients through golf-specific warm-ups, strength circuits, mobility drills, balance work, rotational movement patterns, and conditioning exercises. The instructor must be able to manage a group setting while still providing individual attention, regressions, progressions, and clear coaching cues based on each client's ability level. This position also requires maintaining a positive class environment, demonstrating exercises properly, monitoring client safety and technique, assisting with setup and breakdown of equipment, keeping the training space clean and organized, and supporting the overall Golf Fitness Solutions client experience. As this portion of the company grows, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, expanded class offerings, and additional compensation tied to client referrals, retention, and new member sign-ups. For qualified trainers, there may also be opportunities to build one-on-one or semi-private training sessions from relationships developed through the group class program. The ideal instructor should be dependable, professional, energetic, coachable, and genuinely interested in helping golfers move better, feel better, and play better.
