Position Summary:
O2 Fitness is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Parking Lot Attendant to ensure our parking lot is utilized by O2 Fitness members only while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming exterior environment. This role is essential in protecting our member parking, enhancing member experience and supporting overall club presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the O2 Fitness parking lot during assigned shifts.
- Ensure parking spaces are used only by O2 Fitness members and guests.
- Identify unauthorized vehicles parked in designated O2 spaces.
- Follow established procedures to request towing for unauthorized vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with members and the public.
- Pick up trash throughout the parking lot and surrounding exterior areas.
- Blow debris from parking areas, sidewalks, and entryways.
- Maintain clean sidewalks and exterior walkways to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Communicate any parking or safety concerns to club leadership.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly exterior environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially confrontational situations.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk, stand, and perform light physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a leaf blower and perform basic exterior cleaning tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous security, parking enforcement, facilities, or customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of towing procedures and property rules preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay, $12-$14/hour.
