The Little Gym has a Part-Time Fitness Instructor position available at the Sea Girt location. Our Parent/Child, Pre-K and Grade School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace. We're also home of "Serious Fun!" and use a proprietary teaching approach to instill 3-Dimensional learning into all of our programs.
We are seeking an energetic and athletic individual with a sincere love of children and fitness. This is a very active position involving hard work and hustle. Chugiak Aquatics Club
Chugiak Aquatics Club is a USA Swimming, coach-owned swim team and instructional organization that was founded by club owner and head coach Anne Williams in 2003. The club currently has 400 swimmers including youth lessons through college age. This includes 40 athletes of high school age. Position Summary
The Senior Level Swimming Coach is responsible for leading, developing, and managing all aspects of the swimming program for our swimmers who are primarily of high school age. Experience as a collegiate competitive swimmer preferred
2 years of competitive coaching experience strongly preferred
Current certifications: USA Swimming Coach Credential, and Lifeguarding required.
Willingness to become certified as a Pool Operator strongly preferred
Compensation
This is a full or part time position requiring between 20 and 30 regular hours. This commitment does not include the time required for swim meets which involve additional supplemental compensation. Starting Salary is competitive but dependent on experience and level of engagement. Minimum starting salary will be $40,000.
20 days paid leave
$200 per day additional stipend for meets (Normally 12-20 days per year)
Initial and Annual Certification Bonus: $400
Additional certification bonus of $400 for successfully completing the Certified Pool Operators course.

Plan and deliver gymnastics, Ninja, tumbling classes for various age groups (from 18 months to 18 years) including recreational and competitive levels.
Design age appropriate, safe, fun, and motivational lessons that encourage physical, cognitive, emotional and social development.
Employ teaching styles that adapt to individual skill levels and learning styles.
Provide positive encouragement, set personal and team goals, and give constructive feedback to athletes and parents.
Maintain a safe and clean training environment; adhere to which the club follows professional guidelines (e.g., USA Gymnastics ("USAG") based programs).
Monitor and track student progress; collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure the best learning experience.
Represent our culture of lifelong fitness and wellness, and help nurture that mindset in students.
Qualifications
Previous experience coaching gymnastics or related youth fitness/ Ninja activities.
Ability to teach and engage with children of all ages (from toddlers to teens).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with coaches, parents and students.
Safe, reliable, positive, and energetic attitude.
Willingness to commit to our mission of lifelong movement development and wellness.
USAG certification or willingness to obtain preferred (but not strictly required).

We are looking for someone with an energetic, up beat personality to coach gymnastics and/or ninja parkour classes. You will be leading a class of 3-8 kids, helping them learn skills on bars, beam, vault, floor, and trampoline. Class participants range from 3 years - 15 years old.
We are currently seeking summer availability for the times below, with the opportunity to stay on long term.
