Job Description

Position Summary

The Transformation & Automation Manager- Shared Services (TAM) is responsible for driving execution of the Shared Services transformation and automation initiatives. This role serves as the primary project manager for the Shared Services organization, ensuring strategic initiatives move from concept to delivery with speed, discipline, and measurable impact.

This individual partners closely with leaders across the organization to deliver desired outcomes. The TAM provides day‑to‑day leadership to a Shared Services Business Analyst who is responsible for the hands‑on development and configuration of automation solutions. The Manager ensures work is properly prioritized, scoped, sequenced, and delivered while maintaining alignment to enterprise objectives and capacity constraints.

This role is critical to scaling Shared Services, enabling absorption of volume growth, and delivering measurable productivity, cost savings, and service quality improvements through automation and process transformation

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Serve as the execution owner for the Shared Services transformation and automation roadmap, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and with clear business outcomes. Translate strategic priorities into executable project plans with defined scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Function as the central project manager for Shared Services, coordinating cross‑functional efforts across Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT, and other partners.
  • Manage intake, prioritization, sequencing, and resourcing of initiatives to balance impact, urgency, and capacity.   
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and constraints; escalate and resolve issues to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Provide direction, prioritization, and coaching to the Shared Services Business Analyst responsible for solution build and configuration, ensuring analyst work aligns to roadmap priorities, design standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Partner with Shared Services leaders and key stakeholders to define business problems, desired outcomes, and success measures. Translate technical or process concepts into clear, executive‑ready narratives and updates.
  • Ensure initiatives deliver measurable benefits such as time savings, cost reduction, scalability, and service quality improvements. Track and report outcomes tied to automation and transformation efforts.

Minimum Required Qualifications  

  • Familiarity with automation concepts
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Experience with technical development
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in transformation, automation, process improvement, project management, or shared services environments
  • 1-2 years experience managing direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Experience

Pay

This is a salaried position starting at $85,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $117,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
